As one of the biggest energy companies in Texas TXU, we couldn\u2019t help ourselves to reveal the truth about their biggest plan:\u00a0TXU Energy Free Nights & Solar Days Reviewed<\/strong><\/p>\n

Previously we have talked about \u201cFREE NIGHTS<\/strong>\u201d or \u201cFREE WEEKENDS<\/strong>\u201d energy plans. We learned that these \u201cFREE\u201d energy plans are not what we expect.<\/p>\n

Why we don’t like FREE energy plans?<\/span><\/h2>\n

In the first place, those plans have higher electricity rates; an average of 15 cents per kWh. Secondly, those energy plans dictate when you are supposed to do things. Thirdly, these FREE ENERGY plans are not entirely FREE. The energy delivery can\u2019t be free, it just can\u2019t.<\/p>\n

As I have said in previews blog posts, simple is better, control your electricity on your own terms, save energy when you can the best you can.<\/p>\n

Please note that I took the Electricity Facts Label<\/strong> (EFL) from each energy company for the same zip code. Due to PUC enforcement, these EFLs need to be published to the public for every energy plan out there.<\/p>\n
