Unfortunately, most of us don\u2019t know how to use the air conditioner. Home Electricity Tips Air Conditioner Use It Correctly.<\/p>\n

Definitely, the air conditioner unit is one of the appliances that use the most energy in our home. Using this appliance in the wrong way can cost you thousands of dollars. Not only the electricity bill, but the unit by itself can also be in danger of malfunction.<\/p>\n

During my sales-over-the-phone days, I heard so many customers saying that they turn off the air conditioning unit while they were away from home to work or when no one will be at the residence for a while.<\/p>\n

      When I was leaving home to work, I just moved the thermostat to be set around 76 to 78\u00b0F. When I came back home, I just set it back at 70\u00b0F.<\/p>\n

      Now, if you have a programable thermostat, figure out the times when your home is empty and adjust the thermostat.<\/p>\n

      74\u00b0F 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM \u2013 Only one or two members of the family are home.<\/p>\n

      72\u00b0F 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM \u2013 Everyone is home.<\/p>\n

      74\u00b0F 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM \u2013 Everyone is asleep.<\/p>\n

      Don\u2019t forget to keep the ceiling fans on at a low to medium speed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Remember that prepaid electricity services will tell you how much energy you use every day.<\/p>\n

      This is what I do and recommend it to all my friends. Try this tip, you will see that you will lower your energy usage by at least 15 %. Nevertheless, get prepaid electricity services.<\/p>\n
